The Agency Hilton Head marked this year’s Giving Tuesday in the best way possible—by getting boots on the ground and lending a hand where it matters most. On December 2, members of the office’s leadership and local agents joined Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry in Jasper County for a Build Day, bringing a new home one step closer to being move-in ready for a local family.

The volunteer team wasted no time diving into the work—painting rooms, hanging doors, and providing support wherever it was needed. Participants included Alison Melton, Managing Partner of The Agency Hilton Head; Sabeth Biangone, Managing Director of Sales; Paige Rose, Managing Director and Marketing Account Manager; as well as Jessica Fico, Lorie Sauer, Michele Niles, and Olivia Clark.

For The Agency Hilton Head, this day of service was just the beginning.

“This isn’t a one-and-done,” said Alison. “Giving back is part of The Agency’s culture and part of how we show up for the communities we serve. Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry is doing critical work in Beaufort and Jasper counties, and we’re committed to being part of that story year after year.”

During the build, The Agency Hilton Head also presented Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry with a $5,000 donation, raised at the brokerage’s First Annual Big Dill Charity Pickleball Tournament, held in early October at Dill Dinkers on Hilton Head Island.

Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry has built more than 190 homes, maintaining an impressively low foreclosure rate thanks to its rigorous qualification process and commitment to long-term stability. The Agency’s contribution helps propel one of the organization’s upcoming projects forward by supporting critical materials and construction costs to help build houses for qualifying families.

Paige reflected on the mission behind the work. “Our job is to help people find ‘home.’ Sometimes that means listings and closings, and sometimes it means putting a hammer in your hand on a Tuesday. Habitat’s work changes lives in a way that’s tangible, immediate, and long-lasting. We’re honored to support that.”

Reflecting on the community’s support for Habitat for Humanity, Sabeth expressed gratitude for the success of the inaugural Big Dill tournament, a very impactful fundraising event. “The Lowcountry shows up. Always,” said Biangone. “Everyone leaned in to make the Big Dill a success. Taking that energy straight into a Habitat build day felt like the perfect next step.”

Kudos to The Agency Hilton Head team for continuing to blend a passion for real estate with a deep commitment to service, helping shape a stronger, more connected Lowcountry. Well done!
