The Agency took the eastern U.S. by storm this past week, as Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky and President Rainy Hake Austin attended back-to-back events hosted by The Agency Fairfield and The Agency Boston, respectively. The two occasions showcased different sides of The Agency’s East Coast growth and highlighted the brokerage’s commitment to a collaborative culture across its expanding global network.

First up, Mauricio and Rainy joined the local team in Fairfield, Connecticut, to celebrate the official debut of the brokerage’s new Connecticut office. Led by Managing Partners Donald Mastroianni and Michael Smith, the office will serve buyers and sellers across the state and strengthen The Agency’s presence throughout the Tri-State region. The event began with a ribbon cutting and toast to the new location at 1636 Post Road, followed by a vibrant cocktail reception at Penfield Pavilion.

Community members joined leaders from The Agency New York and The Agency Marketing team, including Juliet Clapp, Senior Vice President, Managing Partner of the Northeast, Lesley Stern, Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Brand, and Laura Corrigan, SVP of Marketing & Communications.

The whole team, including Managing Partners from our nearby brokerage in Narragansett, brought the energy to the dance floor to finish off the night, with a huge turnout in support of the new office and agents John Caminiti, Aken “Moose” Musa, Courtney McManus, and Erin Melson.

The following day, Mauricio and Rainy headed to Beantown to join The Agency Boston, led by Managing Partner Jeremy Stivaletta, for a panel entitled “Building What’s Next,” reflecting the brokerage’s focus on engaging the broader business community beyond traditional real estate networking. The gathering was co-hosted by Blueprint Boston, a collaborator in strategic development, industry networking, and diversity initiatives, and drew 150+ leaders from real estate, hospitality, business, and entrepreneurship.

Held at renowned music hall Big Night Live, Jeremy moderated a panel with Mauricio; Jamie Pollock, COO of Big Night Entertainment Group; and Meaghan St. Marc, Co-Founder of Rev’d Indoor Cycling. The panelists shared lessons from building and scaling businesses across different industries, touching on growth, leadership, and what’s next for Boston.

After the panel, guests gathered for cocktails and mingling, followed by a live Chef Showdown featuring local culinary stars Chef Chris Viaud of Gather by Chris, Chef Viviana Acevedo of SEVEN Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge, and Chef Peter Nguyen of Le Madeline. Lost My Balance provided live entertainment throughout the evening before invited guests ended the night at an exclusive VIP mixer at cocktail bar, My Girl.

From the Constitution State to Massachusetts ‘ capital, this whirlwind of successful events brought The Agency’s team, leadership, and collaborators together to celebrate and build on our expanding presence in New England.
