Hybrid estate agency eXp UK has now signed up more than 600 estate agents with the company expected to expand further later this year, the company has revealed.

Launched in November 2019, the digitally-focused platform initially signed up 50 agents but now has over agents on board, as more agents seek self-employment with a view to managing their own business.

The latest announcement comes less than eight months after the firm reached 500 member agents, supported in part by the introduction of its brokerage model at the start of this year – designed to convert existing branch-based estate agency businesses to the use of self-employed fee-earners, and more recently, it’s own buyer representation programme.

This latest achievement indisputably cements eXp UK as the leading and largest self-employed estate agency platform in the UK, with Keller Williams estimated to be the second largest with just 250 member agents, according to Adam Day.

Day, the head of eXp UK, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to have hit yet another momentous milestone already this year and its proof of the momentum that continues to build across the eXp UK network, which is undeniably now the biggest network of self-employed agents across the nation.

“Our network of top agency talent is by far our most valuable commodity and it’s not just the individual earning potential agents can benefit from, as so far this year eXp UK member agents have shared 413 referrals, sharing an estimated £1.4m in potential commission in the process.

“That’s an average of almost £10,000 in potential commission every working day so far this year and as our network grows, so too does the volume of these referrals.

“Many of our competitors often use our size against us but actually, the larger our network, the more opportunities our agents get across the board, not to mention the support they need to get their businesses off the ground.”
