The Agency Savannah and The Agency Hilton Head recently partnered with Savannah College of Art and Design and The Agency Art House to host a gallery event focused on the convergence of institutional access, collector insight, and cultural discovery in one of America’s most compelling cities.
The evening was appropriately set inside the SCAD Museum of Art, and began with a tour guided by Chief Curator Daniel S. Palmer, PhD, through eight world-class exhibitions currently on view, including the works of Anish Kapoor, Laurie Anderson, and Eva Jospin. The guided experience offered guests an opportunity to engage directly with the exhibitions through the lens of institutional stewardship, offering perspective on the museum’s curatorial approach and underscoring the vital role institutions play in shaping contemporary cultural discourse.

Before the tour began, guests heard from Arushi Kapoor, Founder of The Agency Art House, whose advisory philosophy is simple and powerful: collecting should be rooted in education, access, and intention. “This collaboration reflects a belief that collecting begins with understanding,” Arushi said. “By bringing collectors into direct dialogue with institutions and artists, we create space for discovery that feels both personal and culturally grounded.”
Alison Melton, Managing Partner and Broker in Charge of The Agency Savannah, highlighted how real estate is a living canvas that runs through everything the brokerage does in this market. “Partnering with SCAD and The Agency Art House allows us to authentically merge art, architecture, and lifestyle—curating not just extraordinary homes, but meaningful experiences,” Alison noted. “This collaboration elevates how we showcase the remarkable residences we represent throughout Coastal Georgia and the Lowcountry—thoughtfully, globally, and with a deep respect for place.”

Later on, the event moved into the Gutstein Gallery for cocktails, conversation, and a curated selection of works available for acquisition.
The evening brought together an institution, a real estate platform, and an advisory voice around a single conviction: that art shapes how we experience and emotionally connect to a place. Savannah — with its layered history, creative energy, and growing reputation as an arts and culture destination — was a perfect setting for this unique gathering.

Congratulations to The Agency Savannah, The Agency Hilton Head and The Agency Art House on hosting this compelling partnership event!
