During the summer, demand for properties on Fire Island really picks up because it’s such a popular spot for seasonal getaways. Lately, we’re seeing more people interested in living here earlier in the spring and later into the fall, especially with remote work making that more feasible.

One of our favorite places on Fire Island is Ocean Beach. Not only is it home to The Agency’s office, Ocean Beach has a vibrant atmosphere with its quaint shops, lively restaurants, hopping bar scene, and beautiful beaches. It’s one of the most visited towns by Long Island mainlanders since the ferry port is conveniently located in the center of town; or many South Shore boaters will dock their boats at a waterside restaurant to enjoy a quick meal. where you can spend the day lounging on the sand and then enjoy a delicious meal with friends as the sun sets.
Ocean Beach truly has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a peaceful day by the ocean or a lively evening out. The sense of community and the laid-back vibe make it a special and inviting destination on the island.
