The mountains were alight with excitement the weekend of July 18 as over 30 managing partners from around the globe joined “Cowboys & Caviar,” a Western-themed lineup of events designed to celebrate the official grand opening of  The Agency Steamboat Springs,  and showcase the area’s stunning properties. Hosted by our Steamboat team, the weekend kicked off in true Western fashion with a welcome party at sunset under the lights of the Steamboat Rodeo.

Of the celebration, Jessica Stanford, Director of Marketing & Operations, said, “We plan a Client Appreciation Party every summer, but this year, we knew we had to go big after opening The Agency Steamboat a little over a year ago. This was the ultimate opportunity to not only show our appreciation for our clients but to really showcase Steamboat and why we live here to our fellow colleagues. It was an honor to share the weekend with our partners from around the nation. We felt so much support, collaboration & celebration—and that’s what The Agency is all about!”

Moments Shared in the Mountains

After a raucous rodeo kickoff, the team took a more leisurely approach to Saturday morning with a “Bellinis and Blinis” brunch at The Boathouse, a picturesque venue nestled on the banks of the Yampa River and just down the street from the bustling Farmer’s Market.

To showcase the immense beauty of the Steamboat Springs region, The Agency provided a luxury home tour featuring three properties that are currently on the market, including a sprawling ranch at Marabou, a gorgeous home on the 11th hole of the Catamount Golf Course, and an enchanting ski-in / ski-out chalet with an indoor pool.

Celebration in Steamboat Springs for The Agency

To cap off an exhilarating tour of homes among the Rockies, the team returned downtown to historic Howelsen Hill to catch the summer concert series with Julian Marley under the alpenglow.

“Our grand opening weekend was a resounding success,” said The Agency Steamboat Springs’ Managing Partner Chris Paoli. “We are overwhelmed by the amount of support we received from The Agency, including our founder, Mauricio Umansky. It was a special weekend to share Steamboat with our partners from around the country and celebrate with our clients. It’s definitely a weekend we will always remember.”
