As a company led by inspiring and tenacious women, The Agency celebrated International Women’s Day with gusto in New York City, hosting a discussion entitled “Built to Be Bold.” The intimate event encouraged a candid and inspiring conversation featuring four of the firm’s most accomplished women leaders.

Held on March 12 at the JO-HS Gallery in SoHo, the panel gathered Juliet Clapp, SVP, Managing Partner of the North East, Ashlie Roberson, Co-Founder, The Whitman & Roberson Team, Dana Trotter, Managing Partner of The Agency Hamptons, and Erin Melson, VP of the Luxury Division for The Agency Fairfield. Moderated by journalist Emma Reynolds and hosted by JO-HS founder Elisabeth Johs, the discussion explored the turning points, defining decisions, and lessons that have shaped each woman’s path in the industry.

Throughout the gathering, each speaker drew nods of agreement as discussions ranged from balancing personal and professional goals to building trust and commanding respect despite being underestimated.

After the panel, guests were treated to a champagne toast and gallery tour through JO-HS, which champions artists whose work explores identity, memory, and cultural dialogue, a fitting backdrop for a conversation centered on leadership, resilience, and impact. The setting, graciously hosted by Elisabeth Johs, reinforces The Agency’s alignment with art, culture, and meaningful dialogue, creating a sophisticated, community-driven experience.

Guests received custom Agency tote bags featuring curated product offerings from several women-owned brands, including Levain Bakery, Kim Parker Organizing, and The Galconomist, with fresh catering provided by Maison Amie, founded by Audrey Granjon.
