As evening fell over Midtown in late September, the 360-degree sunset views from Penthouse 34 at 200 East 59th Street set the stage for an exciting debut. The Agency, in partnership with rennie, welcomed brokers, clients, industry partners, and tastemakers to celebrate the relaunch of the property as The Elysia, with an evening of art, fashion and music, hosted in the $14.5 million penthouse.

The relaunch marks a new chapter for the property, introducing a refreshed identity and renewed approach to the positioning, marketing, and sales experience for its remaining residences. Since the transition, led by agents Michael Biryla and John Antretter of The Agency New York, two residences have closed and another has gone into contract.

“The Elysia offers buyers a rare opportunity to experience contemporary living in an incredibly central Manhattan location, and this relaunch allows us to tell that story in a fresh and compelling way,” said Biryla. “There is so much strength already within the property, and our focus is on creating renewed excitement around the residences and showing buyers the value of what is here,” added Antretter.

During the event, guests moved between the penthouse’s interiors and its terraces overlooking Manhattan as a DJ set the pace. Passed hors d’oeuvres circulated alongside two cocktails created for the occasion: the Sky Spritz and the Elysia After Dusk, each a nod to the building’s name and its place above the city. Fashion played a central role, with guests entering to win a private Bloomingdale’s shopping experience with personal stylist Elizabeth Wilcoxen.

The Agency Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky, rennie President Greg Zayadi, and various members of The Agency’s marketing and leadership teams joined the celebration.

The Elysia, a 35-story, 67-residence condominium, was crafted by architecture and design firm CetraRuddy. The Agency Copywriter Michele Vidarte explains the strategy behind The Elysia‘s refreshed branding.

“When our team started the branding effort for 200 East 59th, we knew we wanted to capture the differentiating factors of the building’s distinctive presence: light-filled spaces, skyline views, and a location with unique access,” Vidarte said. “We landed on Elysia as a play on the word Elysium, a Greek term for paradise, positioning the address as a place of considered luxury with residences that could appeal to a broad range of buyers. The resulting brand captures the contrast of stillness amid the vibration of the city.”

The new identity arrives with updated staging, photography, creative and marketing, all designed to bring renewed attention to the available residences.

“We’re proud of the exceptional design and distinctive residences at The Elysia, and we’re excited to partner with The Agency and rennie to begin this exciting new next chapter,” said Robert E. Schlesinger, Vice President of Centurion Real Estate Partners, the New York-based investment and development firm that now represents The Elysia. “We look forward to welcoming new homeowners to this special Manhattan property.”

The Elysia also marks an important next step in The Agency + rennie’s exclusive new development partnership, announced in May 2026. The alliance brings together rennie’s proprietary research, data, technology, and developer advisory expertise with The Agency’s global marketing platform, media reach, international referral network, and luxury sales capabilities. Together, the firms provide developers with an integrated platform spanning pre-development strategy, branding, marketing, sales, and final sellout.

Situated at 200 East 59th Street, The Elysia occupies a prominent Manhattan location at the convergence of Midtown and the Upper East Side, offering residents access to the cultural, dining, shopping and business destinations that define the surrounding area. Of the 67 residences, 24 two-bedroom layouts are currently available, including the showpiece Penthouse 34, featuring a private rooftop and sweeping 360-degree Manhattan views.
