This past September, The Agency Silicon Valley and the Peninsula proudly sponsored the bi-annual Woodside Fire Foundation Chili Cook-Off, benefiting the Valley Fire Protection Foundation, which provides vital emergency services to the area.

Most notably involved in the planning and execution of the event was The Agency’s Mario Andrighetto, who helped curate the auction and assist in rallying almost 500 attendees and volunteers to support the cause.

“The Agency and The Andrighetto Group were proud to support the 2025 Woodside Fire Foundation Chili Cook-Off,” Mario says. “This event brings our community together while raising vital funds for the brave men and women who protect our homes and families. We are honored to stand alongside our neighbors in celebrating tradition, service, and the spirit of Woodside.”

Held at Runnymede Sculpture Farm, the event showcased six local vendors’ chili, with additional BBQ dishes provided by Bianchini’s Market and wine from local vintner, Neely Winery

Rossotti’s Alpine Inn took home the award for best chili, competing amongst an impressive pool including Buck’s Restaurant, Rolling in Dough Pizza, Alice’s Restaurant, Burner’s Delight, and The San Mateo County Mounted Patrol

The cook-off also featured an extensive silent and live auction, live music, tours of the sculpture farm, and kid-friendly fire station activities.

“I was honored to take an active role in organizing this year’s fundraiser. I focused on building strong community support and helping cultivate a diverse representation of items and experiences that reflected the character of our community, from local artisan goods to exclusive getaways,” Mario said, reflecting on the event. “It was incredibly fulfilling to see so many neighbors and partners come together to make the day a success.”

Well done, Mario and many thanks to the event’s many volunteers, donors, and community members involved in putting together such a successful event for a vital cause in the Woodside community.
