Sharlot Arabshahi: Thank you for having me! My dreams are ambitious but deeply rooted in my love for this industry. I would love to reach the top producer level in both residential and commercial real estate in Los Angeles. I aim to expand my business by building a team of dedicated real estate professionals and eventually take on a leadership role within the real estate community. My goal is to deliver personalized service to help families find their dream homes and investors grow their portfolios. Establishing a reputation for smooth, stress-free transactions in all market conditions is also something I’m committed to. Ultimately, I want to build a legacy of trust and success in real estate and make a meaningful impact on the community through local housing and development initiatives.

That’s inspiring! Building a legacy while helping clients sounds incredibly rewarding. What would you say have been some of the biggest challenges in your journey?
Sharlot Arabshahi: Like many in this industry, my journey has had its share of challenges. Balancing the demands of building a business in a competitive market while maintaining personal commitments has definitely tested my resilience. There have been moments of uncertainty, especially during market downturns or challenging negotiations, where closing deals seemed nearly impossible. Navigating both residential and commercial sectors requires constant learning, adaptation, and perseverance. But these challenges have ultimately strengthened my resolve, deepened my knowledge, and reinforced my commitment to providing the best possible service to my clients.

What advice would you give to young realtors just starting out in the real estate world?
Sharlot Arabshahi: I would tell them to be patient and persistent. Success in real estate doesn’t happen overnight; it requires time, commitment, and resilience. Deals won’t always close quickly, but it’s important to stay dedicated. Building relationships and trusting that your efforts will eventually pay off is essential. Also, knowledge is your most powerful tool—attend workshops, get certifications, and learn from experienced mentors. Networking is key, as real estate is a people business. The genuine connections you build with clients, colleagues, and industry professionals will bring opportunities your way.

Embracing technology and social media is another must. The real estate landscape is increasingly digital, so platforms like social media are essential for marketing, generating leads, and staying competitive. Above all, provide exceptional service; put your clients’ needs first, and go above and beyond to ensure they feel supported and informed. Happy clients lead to referrals and long-term success. Lastly, resilience is key. There will be setbacks, like deals falling through or sudden market shifts, but these are opportunities to learn and grow. Stay adaptable and keep a positive mindset.
