Asifa, could you describe some of the challenges you faced as a woman in the male-dominated real estate industry, and how you’ve managed to break through these barriers?
Indeed, it wasn’t easy initially. There were tough moments, but I saw them as opportunities to prove my critics wrong. My key strategy was to stay authentic and tenacious, always learning and evolving. Most importantly, I never allowed societal stereotypes to define me or my career.
You’ve built an impressive portfolio over the years, gaining trust and recognition from a wide range of clients. How have you managed to build and maintain this trust?
Trust, I believe, comes from transparency and consistency. I made it a point to always provide honest and professional advice to my clients, treating their goals as my own. Prioritizing their needs and ensuring the best outcomes has been my focus. Additionally, maintaining constant communication and staying true to my commitments have helped me build strong relationships.
Your accomplishments are inspiring. What dreams and goals do you have for the future?
Thank you for your kind words. My primary goal is to continue contributing to the growth of Ajman’s real estate sector. I’m particularly excited about the AZHA COMMUNITY project. I dream of creating a comprehensive community that offers unparalleled luxury and comfort to its residents. Personally, I hope to continue inspiring women, especially in the Middle East, to break through societal barriers and achieve their dreams.
As a seasoned expert in the industry, what advice do you have for young entrepreneurs looking to make their mark in the real estate world?
The real estate industry is challenging but equally rewarding. My advice is to stay patient and persistent. It’s crucial to be knowledgeable about market trends and to stay updated. But most importantly, believe in your capabilities. Every setback is an opportunity for a comeback. Keep pushing forward, and success will follow.
